At Aquilla, we have a fully equipped gym with a large range of facilities including top of the range Cybex cardio equipment such as running machines, ellipticals, step machines, stationary bikes and a rowing machine. Weights machines are available for strengthening and toning, and there is a TRX system for suspension training. There is a free weights area with stability balls, kettle bells and other equipment for core strength exercises and stretching. The 15-metre heated swimming pool is available to all gym members, and when the studio isn’t in use it can be used as a stretching area.
Our spa facilities include a 15-metre heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, saunas and steam rooms. There is a relaxation area by the pool with comfortable loungers. The saunas and steam rooms are located in the male and female changing rooms. We have three treatments rooms available for spa treatments and our experienced therapists offer everything from facials and massages to hair removal and manicures.
Our swimming pool is heated to between 30-32 degrees, and is 15m long and 1.5m deep. It is family friendly and children are welcome to swim between 9am and 6pm. The pool is closed for our Aquacise classes and swimming lessons at various times throughout the week, see our timetable for full details.
There are several car parks in Knightsbridge and South Kensington, and we recommend Chelsea Cloisters which is about a ten minute walk away.
Children are allowed between 9am and 6pm Monday to Sunday, and all day on Saturdays. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18, and are not permitted to use the sauna, steam rooms, Jacuzzi or gym facilities.

Yes, we offer a weekly programme of fitness classes in our studio. Many classes are free for gym members and day pass holders, but some will incur a fee that must be paid directly to the instructor. You can view our class timetable online here. To attend a fitness class, you should book in advance by calling 020 7225 0225.
Yes, you can freeze your membership for a minimum of one month and a maximum of 3 months per annum. You must provide us with one months notice to freeze your membership, and we are unable to freeze memberships for anything less than one month.
Cancelling your gym membership will depend on your membership type.
If you pay for your gym membership every month, then you will be committed for a minimum period of 3 full calendar months. After your initial 3 months, your membership will be continuous on a monthly basis but can be cancelled with 1 full calendar months written notice.
If you pay for your gym membership annually, then you are committed to your membership for 12 months. You will not be able to end your membership during this period.
We will not offer any refunds or accept cancellations outside of these terms without the permission of the club manager and only due to serious injury, illness, pregnancy or redundancy.
Yes, we recommend that you book your treatment in advance. You can book a treatment online, or call us on 020 7225 0225.
We request that all customers arrive 20 minutes before the treatment time. If customers are delayed then this time will be taken out of the treatment time and in some cases may result in cancellation of your treatment.
You must be over the age of 16 to have a beauty or spa treatment at Aquilla Health and Fitness.
Yes, all of our spa treatments and spa packages are available anyone, there is no need to be a gym member or hotel guest.
No, treatments do not give you access to our spa, fitness and pool facilities. All of our packages include use of facilities.
Yes, towels are available for all Aquilla visitors.
Members of Aquilla Health and Fitness can bring a friend for a guest fee of £10 per person. Guests of The Rembrandt enjoy a reduced fee of £10 per adult and £5 per child aged 16 and under. If you are only in the area for a short time, you can buy a book of 10 guest passes for £150 by calling us on 020 7225 0225.

Yes, gift vouchers are available for various beauty treatments and spa packages. You can buy a gift voucher online or at Aquilla reception.
Call our reception team on 020 7225 0225 as soon as possible to let us know. We will do our best to return any lost property as soon as possible. We can either hold your item for you to collect, or arrange for it to be posted to you for a postage fee.
